David Kennedy
David Kennedy is an accomplished facilitator and presenter who brings a wonderful combination of theory, skilled knowledge and life experience. David has worked professionally in various fields including health care, education, grief counselling and hospice palliative care. David served as faculty for the Canadian Centre for Bereavement Education and Counselling for 16 years as part of programs offered by the University of Toronto Continuing Ed program. In 2008 he joined Hospice Peterborough to advance and supervise the accredited grief and bereavement program. A decade later David used his immense skills as a Supportive Care Counsellor with Hospice’s Palliative Care Community Team supporting individuals, family members and caregivers to understand and cope with the emotional, psychological, social, spiritual and practical challenges of life-limiting illness, grief and death. In retirement, David has become a revered presenter and keynote speaker known across Canada.
